It's official. Her majesty, the reclusive governor of Alaska and presumptive Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin has deigned ABC news anchor, Charles Gibson, suitably pliable to allow him to become the conduit for her myth.
This, I fear, is what will happen with this interview. It will be a conduit for the Sarah Palin myth. There is no other reason why the the Republican spin machine would have allowed Mrs. Palin to be interviewed.
What I hope is that Mr. Gibson will not be the patsy the Republicans think he is, that he will surprise everyone by actually doing the job the fifth estate is meant to do - which is to ascertain the truth.
Please, Mr. Gibson, DO YOUR JOB!
